Adam Stafford
Adam's first short film, "The Shutdown", (produced by Accidental Media in 2009) is based on a spoken-word/music collaboration between Adam and . The 10-minute documentary is currently competing major film festivals internationally and has won Best Doc at San Francisco International Film Festival and won the Jim Poole Scottish Short Film Awards as well as a nomination for a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award.
In September 2009, Adam directed the "Seven Years of Letters" music video for Scottish band The Twilight Sad. The music video, commissioned by Fat Cat Records and produced by Accidental Media, was a massive critical success with dozens of online reviews including from the prestigious .
Adam is also a successful musician, composer, song writer and poet. In addition to his scores for "The Shutdown" and Accidental Media's "Fistful of Roses" documentary, Adam currently writes songs and fronts the band , who have issued three critically acclaimed albums in the past two years, have played over one hundred concerts (including The Wickerman Festival in 2007) and who have played in session on BBC Radio One.
In December 2007, Adam organised and curated Winter's Love Festival in Falkirk in aid of Christmas relief for The Falkirk Women's Refuge. The event saw 15 musical acts play over eight hours.
